Q) Does the eToll Clip work with the old model of SunPass?
A) Unfortunately the eToll Clip does not support the older, larger model of SunPass released prior to Fall of 2003. The older model can be identified by its LCD display.
Q) Which model transponder works with the eToll Clip?
A) The eToll Clip works with any of the TransCore IT2221 models transponder. The following toll roads use this model: Sun Pass, E-Pass, Cruise Card, Pike Pass, Lee Way, and K-Tag.
Q) Does the eToll Clip work with the EZ-Pass transponders in NY, NJ, TX, IL, PA, MA?
A) No the eToll Clip does not work with the EZ-Pass transponder illustrated below.
Q) Will the plastic clip interfere with the toll road being able to read the transponder?
A) During our testing over a years time the eToll Clip™ has not interfered with the toll roads ability to read the transponder.
Q) How does the eToll Clip work?
A) Just Clip it and Stick it! - All three suction cups are installed into the eToll Clip prior to shipping. The toll transponder is then clipped into the eToll Clip with the LED's and battery cover facing toward the open end of the clip. Once the transponder is installed in the clip, it is ready to be secured to the interior windshield of the vehicle. The suction cups should be moistened prior to applying them to a cleaned windshield. The eToll Clip can then be repositioned as desired. Q) How do you remove the eToll Clip from the windshield?
A) Three suction cups secure the eToll Clip to the windshield. The best way to remove them is to use both hands and slide them between the plastic clip and the windshield, releasing all three suction cups at the same time. It is not recommended to pull on the transponder or the clip, because the strength of the suction cups could cause you to damage the suction cups or in extreme cases the clip.
Q) How often should I replace the suction cups?
A) As long as the suction cups are providing a firm grip to the windshield there is no need to replace them, however it is recommended that the suction cups be replaced each year.
Q) Where can I get replacement suction cups?
A) Additional suction cups can be received by filling out a customer care form with your name, address, and last order number.
Q) What kind of warranty is available for this product?
A) This product comes with a 90 day money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with the product for any reason during the first 90 days, you can return the product for a full refund of the retail price or product replacement.
